Through community partnerships and passionate volunteers, Habitat constructs quality homes at a significantly lower cost than government on for-profit organizations. This allows the organization to provide no-interest, 20 year mortgages to qualified families. To help the families succeed, Habitat offers credit counseling, mentoring, and education programs. They have constructed more than 100 homes for families in need throughout New Hanover, Pender, and northeastern Brunswick Counties.
