Brandon Wyatt Haines, MBA, AAMS®, AWMA®, CFP®

Founder and Wealth Advisor

Brandon began his career in the financial services industry in 2001, in Wilmington, N.C., as an Investment Representative with Edward D. Jones & Company. In 2007, after a successful career with Edward Jones, Brandon established Haines Financial, LLC, simultaneously joining LPL Financial as an LPL Financial Advisor.

Brandon received his Bachelor of Science (BS) in Social Work in 1999, and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2001 from East Carolina University. In 2004 Brandon earned his Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) certification from the College of Financial Planning and in 2007 his Certificate in Financial Planning from the University of Georgia. He was certified by the CFP Board on February 20, 2009. In 2010 he completed the Accredited Wealth Managment Advisor (AWMA®) Professional Designation Program through the College of Financial Planning.

A lifelong resident of Eastern North Carolina, Brandon and his wife Erica make their home in Wilmington along with their two Miniature Schnauzers, Swashbuckler and Plunder.

They are both active in community service and activities. As he and Erica are both graduates of ECU their loyalties run deep. Brandon was a member of the ECU Pirate football team in 1994 and was the team mascot, Pee Dee the Pirate, from 1995-1996. His dedication continues as he serves as the President of the Cape Fear Chapter of The East Carolina University Educational Foundation (AKA: Pirate Club). 

Additionally, Brandon serves on the Cape Fear Rotary Board and he and Erica are involved in local community theatre and are members of First Baptist Church. They enjoy traveling, gardening, water sports, snow skiing, physical fitness and golfing.
